Doug Karsch, a lifelong Ann Arbor resident, has been a voice in the state of Michigan for nearly three decades. He has been the sideline reporter and pregame host for University of Michigan radio games for the past 16 seasons, and has been a host at 97.1 since 2001. For almost 20 years, he has partnered with Scott “The Gator” Anderson for their midday sports talk show.
ANALYST
Jon Jansen is a former U-M and NFL offensive lineman, and has been a voice on Michigan broadcasts for the last few years. He will handle the analysis for the Michigan game-day broadcasts. Jansen has been Karsh’s co-host on U-M pregames for the last eight years, and has also handled postgame interviews, hosted the “Inside Michigan Football Radio Show,” and a couple of podcasts for U-M athletics. He has also filled in as a game analyst for U-M games in recent years.
